Dean MacNeil – Head of Agile at Scale Practice​ at Valiantys

Dean MacNeil has been passionate about agile practices and tools since before they were called “agile,” having pioneered a form of iterative and incremental product delivery at the world’s leading music company in the mid 1990s. As Head of Agile at Scale Practice at Valiantys, Atlassian Certified Consultant and Enterprise Agile Coach, MacNeil has helped companies of diverse sizes and verticals, including some of the world’s largest and fastest growing companies, to improve business agility and outcomes. MacNeil is also a published author and lifelong musician. He lives in Los Angeles where he enjoys hiking, biking, and sailing with his son. Dean MacNeil is the co-author of Scaling Agile with Jira Align, the first book written on the leading enterprise agile platform.

 

James Sweet – Agile Delivery Lead​ at Eliassen Group

James Sweet is an Agile Delivery Leader for Southwest and Western regions. James has over 20 years of experience in solution delivery in the finance, healthcare, telecom, hi-tech, government, public sector and cable industries. James has served in a variety of roles including Project Manager, Program Manager, Software Development Manager, Solution Delivery Director and Vice President of Software Development. James has extensive experience in agile transformations with over 15 years of Agile coaching, 10 years of hands on agile practitioner experience and 10 years of management consulting experience working with the highest levels of organizations. James is credentialed as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM) and IC Agile Certified Practitioner (ICP-ACC).
