How it works
1 – Simple User Interaction: A Jira user initiates the approval process by creating an e-signature request to send it to the required signatory or signatories (multiple e-signatures are supported). All e-signatures are recorded digitally for future reference.
2 – No Box Account Requirement for Signee: The user responsible for requesting document signatures must have a Box account, but those requested to e-sign do not need a Jira or Box account (e.g. customers, executives, etc.)
3 – Auto-PDF Conversion to Secure Storage: Once signed, the document is automatically converted to PDF format and securely stored in Box. The memorialized signature is available for later review and audit if needed.
