About the session
The Bank of England is the central bank of the United Kingdom and one of the oldest banks in the world. After 325+ years in business, they decided to adopt Jira and Confluence at the beginning of 2020 to support the transformation of their ways of working. About the speakers
Jordan Daniel, Head of Testing – Bank of England
Jordan is the Head of Testing and Test Enablement for the Bank of England, a post he has held for more than 6 years. Jordan has been a testing professional for 30 years and has worked in a senior capacity for a number of organisations including Banks, Building Societies, and other large financial institutions.
Jo Gurton, Continuous Improvement Lead – Bank of England
20 year IT career at the Bank of England. Starting out as a trainee developer on our Real Time Gross Settlement development team, I have worked in a number of IT roles, moving into management 11 years ago. I have had a focus on continuous improvement, from my first team leader role instigating a backlog and change board, through to my current role as Continuous Improvement lead working to support our agile transformation with a focus on DevOp tools, including the introduction of Jira and Confluence.
