  • Disqus: Disqus is a free service that makes it possible to add comments to multiple parts of the Sites.

  • Pardot: Pardot is a web marketing automation solution that allows the company to create, deploy, and manage online marketing campaigns from one central platform. We use the Pardot suite to collect information about visitors to our Website. The personal information is stored in Pardot/Salesforce if our visitors fill out a form, such as to register for events, request information, or sign up for our emails. Information such as the IP address, operating system, Web browser, and the pages viewed are collected by Pardot.

4. How do we use this information?

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • To send information: After signing up for our communications, an email will be sent to the User, who will then be redirected to a "preference center", where he or she will be able to select the information that he or she wants to receive;
  • To meet your requests: After requesting information or quotes, our Company will contact you;

This data is kept on file until you withdraw your consent or after two years of inactivity on your account.

Additionally, the data collected enables us to conduct statistical analysis in order to understand our audience and adapt our services to your needs. These statistics are kept at the sites of our various service providers.

The data is sent to the Company's marketing, sales, and human resources departments.

6. Where is your data stored?

The data is hosted by our various service providers, Pardot, Salesforce, Disqus, Google Analytics. The Company's cookies are erased from the platform when you leave the website.

7. What are your rights to your personal data?

In accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 and French law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 regarding data privacy as amended, the User has a right to access, object to, correct, and to data portability regarding any personal data concerning him or her.

The User may also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of data concerning him or her.

8. Blog comments

Articles posted to the Company's Blog (the "Blog") may be freely viewed by the User and may receive comments via Disqus, a free service for adding comments to several areas of this website.

In order to post a comment, the User must sign in by creating a Disqus account or logging in to his or her existing Disqus account if he or she already has one.

Any substantial change in how Valiantys processes your personal data will be announced visibly on the Site.




Definitions and legal references

"The Blog": Centralized Web-based article discussion and commenting service with single sign-in.

"Newsletter": Information that is regularly e-mailed to a distribution list, meaning to people who have signed up for Newsletters.

"Person Concerned": The natural or artificial person to which the Personal Data refer.

"Controller": The company "Valiantys", which determines the purposes and means of data processing.

"Website": A series of web pages and resources connected by hyperlinks, defined and accessible via a web address.

"User": The person using the Website of the company "Valiantys", who must be the Person Concerned or be authorized by him or her, to whom the Personal Data refers.
